29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 10/24/2014 at 1094 Duluth Highway, Lawrenceville, GA; the employer failed to ensure that fall protection was provided to employees that were working above 18 feet to the lower level. 5 Star Canopy was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315741751, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/19/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 5500 Buford Highway, Doraville, GA.
