29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:   a)  Front Yard - On or about 10/27/2014, a worker was exposed to a struck-by hazard for he was not wearing eye protection while operating a pneumatic nail gun while attaching wooden trim to a porch soffit.

29 CFR 1926.304(f): Other requirements. All woodworking tools and machinery did not meet other applicable requirements of American National Standards Institute, 01.1-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery, in that:   a) Front Yard - On or about 10/27/2014, a spreader with which to protect carpenters wood trim and other materials fed into the saw from binding and being ejected, was not provided; which is a requirement of the American National Standards Institute, 01.-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery, Section 4.1.2(b).          Condition Corrected During Inspection.       b) Front Yard - On or about 10/27/2014, an anti-kickback device or dogs to protect carpenters wood  trim and other materials fed into the saw from binding and being ejected was not provided, which is a requirement of the American National Standards Institute, 01.-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery, Section 4.1.2(e).    Condition Corrected During Inspection.            c) Front Yard - On or about 10/27/2014, a restart switch that would prevent the saw from unexpectedly restarting after a temporary interruption of power was not provided, which is a requirement of the American National Standards Institute, 01.-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery, Section 3.1.3(c).            Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.304(i)(1): Each circular hand-fed ripsaw was not guarded by a hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut:   a)  Front Yard - On or about 10/27/2014, A Bosch 10 in. portable table saw (serial no. 89224-1414) was not provided with a hood or top guard which would prevent the carpenter ripping wood trim from accidentally coming into contact with the saws rotating blade.
