29 CFR 1918.105(b)(1):  The employer did not provide personal flotation devices (PFDs) for each employee engaged in work in which the employee might have fallen into the water:   a.  On or about Oct 29, 2014,Cangrejos Yatch Club, Carolina, PR.   At the pier's Total refueling station, employees engaged in refueling operations had been dispensing fuel to boats of different sizes without personal floating devices.       NOTE:   Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.106(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that conspicuous and legible signs prohibiting smoking were posted within sight of the employee being served:    a. On or about Oct 29, 2014, at the maintenance and Total refueling areas, Cangrejos Yatch Club, Carolina, PR. In areas where flammables and combustibles materials were located, it was observed that "no-smoking" signs were missing.    NOTE: Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.132(a):  Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered:   a.   On or about Oct 29, 2014, Cangrejos Yatch Club, Carolina, PR.  Employees engaged in marinas maintenance related operations had been working with no safety shoes and no eye safety glasses so as to protect them from injury.       NOTE:   Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
