OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) R.M. Kerner Company / 2208 East 33rd Street, Erie, PA: On or about October 17, 2014 employees were potentially exposed to machine entanglement hazards from the accidental entry of clothing into moving machine parts and other hazardous areas associated with machinery/equipment. Employee wearing a long sleeved shirt became entangle in the moving drill shaft on the drill press associated with the Fidal #3 machine.

Employees, who were hired through a temporary worker staffing agency did not receive affected employee LOTO training.
