OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from the unexpected failure and falling of the freight elevator: (a) RR Donnelley Pittsburgh- 218 North Braddock Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about October 23, 2014, an employee from RR Donnelley Pittsburgh and an employee from Commercial Employees, Inc. overloaded the freight elevator with product, equipment, and personnel, resulting in its failure and falling one floor to the basement.
