29 CFR 1926.451(f)(1): Scaffold and/or scaffold components were loaded in excess of their maximum intended loads or rated capacities, whichever was less: (a) Darios Masonry at 430 S. Navajo Street, Denver, CO 80221: On and before October 30, 2014, the employer allowed the scaffold platforms to be loaded in excess of their intended loads and rated capacities in the following instances: 1) The employees set cinder blocks on the materials platform on the south side of the east scaffold, and one end of one plank was supported by a standard 2 x 4, which would have been limited in its capacity to about 200 pounds; and 2) The employer stacked a pallet of cinder blocks partially on an outrigger platform, on the second platform level, on the east scaffold, which was not designed for use as a storage platform for this weight. The Conditions exposed employees to struck-by and fall hazards.
