29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b).  On 10/27/2014, at the job site located at 10247 Hwy 92, Woodstock, Georgia, employees were exposed to fall hazards up to 25 feet and were not required to use fall protection systems.   No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.502(d)(6)(i): A snaphook not of the locking type was engaged (i) directly to webbing, rope or wire rope; (ii) to each other (iii) to a Dee-ring to which another snaphook or other connector is attached;(iv) to a horizontal lifeline; or (v) to any objectwhich is incompatibly shaped or dimensioned in relation to the snaphook such that unintentional disengagement could occur by the connected object being able to depress the snaphook keeper and release itself.  On 10/27/2014, at the job site located at 10247 Hwy 92, Woodstock, Ga, employees were permitted to anchor fall protection systems by hooking the lanyard back into itself.    No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.502(d)(21): Personal fall arrest systems were not inspected prior to each use for wear, damage, and other deterioration, and/or defective components were not removed from service.  On 10/27/2014, at the job site located at 10247 Hwy 92, Woodstock, Ga., employees used body harnesses that had broken buckles and were knotted back into position. The employer did not ensure body harnesses were inspected prior to use and removed from service when defective components existed.    No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
