29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a. Site - On October 27, 2014 and October 28, 2014, fall protection was not utilized by employees performing framing activities on the roof of a commercial structure and exposed to falls over 15 feet.   This violation was observed on 10/27/2014 and 10/28/2014 at a jobsite located at the Goodwill project, 9 Watson Rd., Hudson, NH 03051, when: (A) on or about October 27, 2014, two employees were engaged in roof truss installation and these employees were not utilzing fall protection and exposed to falls of over 15 feet from the unprotected floor opening underneath these employees. These two employees were also exposed to a fall hazard on the side of the structure where there was no fall protection equipment or guardrails to prevent the fall. (B) on or about October 28, 2014, an employee engaged in framing activities and installing plywood sheathing on the roof area was not utilizing fall protection and exposed to falls of over 15 feet.
