29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(c). On or about November 04, 2014, during the installation of electrical conduit the employer did not ensure employees working inside an approximately 8 foot deep trench were protected from cave-ins by an adequately designed protection system. The soil was type C, due to water freely seeping from fissures inside the trench
