29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about November 12, 2014, at 3445 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, a two-story wood building, employees installing felt paper on the 6/12 and 7/12 pitch roof and were exposed to a eight to 15 ft. fall hazard by not using any fall protection.
