OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to injuries from defective emergency safety devices: On or about November 13, 2014 and times prior thereto, employees of Southeast Poultry, Inc. performed poultry processing at the facility located at or near 2200 Town West Drive in Rogers, Arkansas. Emergency stops were not functional in the following instances: a. E1 on Cone Line 1. b. E3 on Cone Line 2.
