OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing for likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: On or about 11/11/2014, at the above addressed job site, employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard while inflating a pipe plug with a compressed air cylinder that had a defective gauge on the regulator. The defective gauge prevented the employees from determining the pressure in the system.
