29 CFR 1926.150(c)(1)(iv): There was not at least one fire extinguisher located adjacent to stairways on each floor of a multistory building: a.) JEB Little Creek Building 3601, Section E: On or about 11/14/14, fire extinguishers were not provided adjacent to the stairways during demolition operations. W. M. Jordan Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926. 150(c)(1)(iv), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 990857, citation number 1 item number 1(c) and was affirmed on 10/09/14, with respect to a workplace located at Quantico Marine Base, 3315 Purvis Road Quantico, VA 22134. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
