29 CFR 1910.138(b): The employer did not base selection of appropriate hand protection on an evaluation of the performance characteristics of the hand protection relative to the tasks to be performed, conditions present, duration of use, and the hazards and potential hazards identified: Establishment: Employer did not select chemical resistant gloves for employees who were exposed to hazardous materials during the following operations: a) Housekeeping - employees use hazardous products such as Neutraquat 256. b) Laundry - employees who change out 5-gallon buckets of laundry detergents such as Laundri Destainer, Tri-Star Solar Brite and Tri-Start Aqua Soft.
