29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) Mill #3: The paper reel spool end was rotating at a high rate of speed and exposed to contact, as observed on or about November 17, 2014.  b) Machine shop: The rotating shaft and chuck of the Fosdick drill press was exposed to contact, as observed on or about November 17, 2014.  c) Machine shop: The manually operated Bridgeport milling machine was not provided with a chip guard/shield, as observed on or about November 17, 2014.  d) Machine shop: The unused portion of the blade on the Kalamazoo horizontal bandsaw was not guarded, as observed on or about November 17, 2014.  Abatement Certification Required.
