29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. A) Building exterior, in lift: An employee was working in a Genie aerial lift with a harness on but not tied off with a lanyard attached to the boom/basket, exposing the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet, on or about October 20th, 2014.
