29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) At the site employees preparing to install the metal flashing to the building's upper level, without fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards approximately 18.8 feet above a lower level. b) At the site employees preparing to install the metal flashing to the building's middle level, without fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards approximately 12.3 feet above a lower level.
