29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition was not taken out of service, and/or repairs were not made by authorized personnel: (a) On November 18, 2014 the inspection revealed that employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from the operation of the Caterpillar Model 120 forklift with a non-functioning backup alarm and light. (b) On November 18, 2014 the inspection revealed that employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from the operation of the Caterpillar forklift serial number 8E8822 with a non-functioning backup alarm.
