29 CFR 1917.151(g)(1): The safety guard or the tongue was not adjusted so that they were always close to the periphery of the wheel.   (a) On November 20, 2014 the inspection revealed that employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from the Jet 6" bench grinder that did not have the tongue guard adjusted to within 1/4" of the periphery of the wheel on both sides of the grinder. The bench grinder was located in the maintenance shop by the east wall at Teevin Terminal in Rainier, Oregon.   (b) On November 20, 2014 the inspection revealed that employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from the Jet 10" bench grinder that did not have a tongue guard capable of being adjusted to within 1/4" of the periphery of the wheel. The bench grinder was located in the maintenance shop by the east wall at Teevin Terminal in Rainier, Oregon.
