29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about November 10, 2014: a) Employee was exposed to falls of approximately 10 feet while installing soffit material without the use of fall protection measures. Bon Building Services, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 952283, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 9 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 1405 Veterans Dr. in Conyers, GA 30012
