29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system: a. On or about December 2, 2014, on the southeast side of a pergolas, employees working on a 4/12 pitch roof were installing metal roofing sheets and were not protected from a 14 feet 7 inch fall hazard by the use of a personal fall protection system. b. On or about December 2, 2014, on the southwest side of a commercial building, employees working on a 4/12 pitch roof were installing metal roofing sheets to the roof and were not protected from a 11 feet 2 inch fall hazard by the use of a personal fall protection system. Dale Tadlock Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 949301, citation number 01, item number 01and was affirmed as a final order on December 2, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 6205 Front Beach Road, Panama City Beach, FL 32401.
