29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them): (a)Global Work Resources LLC, at 345 Relay Road, Aspen, CO: On and preceding 11/25/14, Global Work Resources LLC did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person.Three employees of Global Work Resources LLC performed maintenance activities at a construction site. Two employees, while working from a work platform suspended by a rough terrain forklift, fell to the ground. The employer did not inspect the worksite. This condition exposed the employees to an approximate eight foot fall hazard.
