29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: (a) On or about December 2, 2014, the Ryobi 8 inch bench grinder, located in the deburr room was missing the tongue guard. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet"). Primus Metals was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 63029, citation number 3, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 8, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 938 Quail St. Unit E, Lakewood, Co. 80215.
