29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE):  (a)  At Delong Inc.:  The employer did not perform air sampling to evaluate the possible exposure to silica and dust.  (1)  On or about December 17, 2014, an employee working in the blasting area, was exposed to an 8 hour time weighted average (TWA) level of 247.226 mg/m3 of total dust, which is 16.48 times the OSHA permissible exposure level (PEL) of 15.0 mg/m3.
