OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing for likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards while performing job related duties on a wooden pallet elevated approximately 4 feet above ground by a Toyota forklift: a) In the warehouse/storage area, an employee was elevated by a forklift approximately 4 feet while standing on a wooden pallet without fall protection. This violation was discovered on or about December 8, 2014.
