29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a. In the metal framing shop, employees were exposed to an amputation hazard, in that, while cutting metal parts the guard on the Dayton bandsaw model # 3Z981 was not adjusted to the metal door frame parts leaving the blade exposed, on or about 12/09/2014.  b. In the metal framing shop, employees were exposed to amputation and struck by hazards, in that, the Rockwell drill press did not have a cup guard, on or about 12/09/2014.

In the wood shop, employees were exposed to an amputation hazard, in that, on the  Black and Decker Professional radial saw guard was blocked open during wood cutting operations, on or about 12/09/2014.
