29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) 8th Ave., Ortley Beach, Toms River, NJ: On or about 12/10/2014 an employee of RJF Construction Corporation was installing sheathing on the steep sloped (14 on 12 pitch) roof of a multi-story new construction residential structure. The employee was not using fall protection and was exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 21.5 feet from the roof's eve to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who was exposed to fall hazards that enabled each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) 8th Ave., Ortley Beach, Toms River, NJ: On or about 12/10/2014 employees of RJF Construction Corporation was installing sheathing on the steep sloped (14 on 12 pitch) roof of a multi-story new construction residential structure.
