29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge: (a)Location: 399 President Street, Brooklyn, First Floor to Second Floor Stair Riser. On or About December 8, 2014 a) Employees used the stair to access work areas were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 12 feet because the left side of the stair system was not equipped with a hand rail system to prevent falls to the floor below.
