29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) Laundry Room: Employees pour corrosive liquid bleach from one container to another and then pour it into a washing machine and the room only had a one quart eyewash bottle as observed on December 10, 2014. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED. Abatement Note: Proper abatement of this violation would be to follow American National Standards Institute procedure ANSI Z358.1-1998 on the proper installation and performance requirements for an eye wash station.
