29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were other provisions of paragraph (b) of this section used to provide an alternative fall protection measure: a) On or about December 11, 2014, Aspen Contracting, Inc., as a controlling employer, did not ensure that Julio Perez Gutter Service and JAMJ Roofing LLC (subcontractors) protected their employees from falls greater than 6 feet while performing roofing and gutter work without adequate fall protection measures in place. Aspen Contracting, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) or its equivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 944176, Citation 1, Item 2a, issued December 4, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 8380 N. Booth, Kansas City, MO 64158. This citation became final on October 2, 2014.
