29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a)  At Lot 100 Old Battles Fairhope, Alabama:  On or about December 10, 2014 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to walk the top plate of the framed walls without fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of 11.4 feet the ground below.  b)  At Lot 100 Old Battles Fairhope, Alabama:  On or about December 10, 2014 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to walk the top plate of the framed walls without fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of 9.1 feet the floor below.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a) At Lot 100 Old Battles Fairhope, Alabama:  On or about December 10, 2014 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to use an extension ladder to get on and off the top of the framed walls and the ladder rails did not extend three feet past the landing area exposing them to a fall hazard of 9.1 feet the floor below.
