The employer allowed his employee to use the fly section of a Werner 36 foot aluminum ladder to access the roof when the ladder was not being used as intended by the manufacturer. The fly section does not have the appropriate safety shoes to prevent slippage exposing the employee to fall hazards. Condition occurred on or about 12/15/14.
