29 CFR 1910.303(b)(3): Insulation integrity. Completed wiring installations shall be free from short circuits and from grounds other than those required or permitted by this subpart. A) Around the fryers and the broiler area of the restaurant, the insulation of the electrical cable that powered the freezer storing the french-fries and the chicken strips was physically damaged and frayed wires were observed on or about 12/12/14.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: (a) Near the broiler, the electrical cord feeding the burger patties freezer had no fittings to prevent strain relief and employees were exposed to electrical hazards on or about 12/12/14.
