29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b). a). Eastside of Home - On or about December 16, 2014, there was an employee working from a roof truss while trimming the corner of a 2x6 piece of lumber without any fall protection system in place, thus exposing the employee to a fall hazard of 19.45 feet onto earthen ground. b). 2nd Floor Southwest Window - On or about December 16, 2014, employees were accessing an extension ladder through a window opening without any fall protection system in place, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard of 12.5 feet onto earthen ground.
