(a) Roof, new residential construction located at 2178 Derby Shire Drive, Marietta, GA 30064: Employee was exposed to eye injuries while operating an Hitachi (Model NR83A2S1) 3-1/4-inch Strip Framing Nail Gun at 120 PSI without protective eyewear.

29 CFR 1926.300(b)(2): Moving part(s) of equipment exposed to contact by employees or which otherwise created a hazard, were not guarded:    (a) Front side near electrical service box, new residential construction located at 2178 Derby Shire Drive, Marietta, GA 30064: Employee was exposed to amputation hazards while operating a Jenny/Emglo Air Compressor without the belt guard in place. The guard was removed from the equipment and the employee turning the equipment on and off was exposed to moving belts and pulleys as they were unguarded during operation.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:     (a) Front gable roof, new residential construction located at 2178 Derby Shire Drive, Marietta, GA 30064: Employee was exposed to fall hazards while installing 1/2-inch plywood sheathing on a 10/12 pitched roof at eave heights of approximately 10-feet, 6-inches with no fall protection system in place.    (b) Front porch roof, new residential construction located at 2178 Derby Shire Drive, Marietta, GA 30064: Employee framing a porch roof at eave heights of approximately 11-feet, 1-inch was not protected from falls as no fall protection was provided by the employer.
