29 CFR 1926.554(a)(6): All overhead hoists in use were not meet the applicable requirements for construction, design, installation, testing, inspection, maintenance, and operation, as prescribed by the manufacturer: A). On or about 12/18/14, at 41-43 21st Street. Long Island City, NY Cinder block on the frame scaffold was used as counterweights for hoisting system. Employees were hoisting material from lower level. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
