29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail and one stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge: a. On or about December 15, 2014, employees of Skanska USA Building, Inc. accessing the basement, used a set of stairs seven risers high without a stairrail system along each unprotected side, exposing themselves to a fall hazard. b. On or about December 15, 2014, employees of Metro Interior Demolition, LLC accessing the basement, used a set of stairs seven risers high without a stairrail system along each unprotected side, exposing themselves to a fall hazard. c. On or about December 15, 2014, employees of Ewing Waterproofing, Inc. accessing the basement, used a set of stairs seven risers high without a stairrail system along each unprotected side, exposing themselves to a fall hazard. d. On or about December 15, 2014, employees of B & M Masonry, Inc. accessing the basement, used a set of stairs seven risers high without a stairrail system along each unprotected side, exposing themselves to a fall hazard.
