29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: The employer does not ensure employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were protected by protective helmets. This violation was observed on or about December 24, 2014, on the job site where employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard when pouring concrete underneath a concrete mixing snorkel. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees that were working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, are protected by protective helmets
