29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): Storage of equipment and materials were in a manner which created a hazard.    a) 438 South Hollywood Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080:  Electrical Equipment / Storage Room.  Employees entering and storing material and equipment in the electrical equipment / storage room were exposed to tripping hazards as buckets, a stool, packaged sump pump, electrical cable, mechanical parts, pipes, vent piping and other items were stored on the floor.       Condition observed on or about 01/05/2015.

29 CFR 1910.106(d)(3)(ii): "Fire resistance." Storage cabinet was not designed and constructed to limit the internal temperature to not more than 325 deg. F. when subjected to a 10-minute fire test using the standard time-temperature curve as set forth in Standard Methods of Fire Tests of Building Construction and Materials, NFPA 251-1969, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6. All joints and seams shall remain tight and the door shall remain securely closed during the fire test. Cabinets were not labeled in conspicuous lettering, "Flammable - Keep Fire Away."    438 South Hollywood Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080:  Electrical Equipment / Storage Room.  Employees storing flammable liquids (including but not limited to:  Penetrating oils, starting fluid, and paint), in the metal cabinet were exposed to fire and explosion hazards in that the cabinet was not designed in accordance with NFPA 251-1969, and the cabinet was not conspicuously labeled, "Flammable - Keep Fire Away".        Observed on/or about 1/05/2015.

29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): The employer did not provide portable fire extinguishers and did not mount, locate and identify them so that they are readily accessible to employees without subjecting the employees to possible injury.      a) 438 South Hollywood Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080:  Electrical Equipment / Storage Room.  Employees accessing the portable fire extinguisher mounted on the wall of the storage room were exposed to possible injury in that access to the extinguisher was blocked by a work bench.      Condition observed on or about 01/05/2015.
