29 CFR 1910.269(a)(2)(i): Employees shall be trained in and familiar with the safety-related work practices, safety procedures, and other safety requirements in this section that pertain to their respective job assignments. On or about 12/23/2015 employees at Simsbury, CT power line tree trimming project were not adequately trained and familiar with safety-related work practices and safety procedures during tree trimming operations. An employee fell approximately 20' after cutting his fall protection system.
