29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. Located at 400 South Waggoner Road in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, employees were performing roofing work on a church without fall protection, exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 30 feet. Rogers Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314590969, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 28, 2011 with respect to a workplace located at 777 Goodale, Columbus, Ohio. Rogers Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313155327, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 17th, 2010 with respect to a workplace located at 4560 Ackerly Farm Rd, New Albany, Ohio.
