Both the inside and outside of the North 7700 Series Half Mask respirators and 3M L-Series Face Shield Hard Hat Powered Air Purifying respirators were found to be contaminated with hazardous chemicals, including but not limited to: Iron Oxide Fume, Copper Fume, Manganese Fume, Zinc Fume, Cobalt Metal Dust and Fume, and Vanadium Fume. Yet, it did not ensure they were stored in a manner that would protect the respirators from dust, debris, oil paint or damaging chemicals. All the North 7700 Series Half Mask respirators and 3M L-Series Face Shield Hard Hat Powered Air Purifying respirators were stored in the open in an office near the Spray Room, and were found to be contaminated with hazardous chemicals, including but not limited to: Iron Oxide Fume, Copper Fume, Manganese Fume, Zinc Fume, Cobalt Metal Dust and Fume, and Vanadium Fume.
