29 CFR 1926.1101(j)(1)(i): The employer did not establish a decontamination area, consisting of an equipment room, shower area, and clean room in series, adjacent and connected to the regulated area: a) St. Charles Row Apartments - Employees performed removal of 175 ft2 of ACM surfacing materials that contained 2% chrysotile asbestos in unit 142 and 150 ft2 of ACM surfacing materials that contained 2% chrysotile asbestos in unit 365 and an equipment and clean room were not provided. The shower being used was an airless sprayer which the employees sprayed over their head and necks, on or about January 7 and February 10, 2015.
