As the employees were hoisting up a beam, the working surface collapsed and the employees were injured.

Location: 16 Morton Street NY, NY / 3rd floor  On or about: August 14, 2014  a) Employees were manually hoisting materials while standing on a beam with a single piece of plywood placed on top of a partially demolished stairwell system.  The work surface collapsed as the employees were working on it.
