For the purpose of this inspection, this employer was determined to be the controlling and correcting employer on the job site. The employer is being cited under OSHAs multi-employer workplace policy.

29 CFR 1926.404(b)(1)(i): Employer did not use either ground fault circuit interrupters as specified in paragraph (b)(1)(ii) of this section, or an assured equipment grounding conductor program as specified in paragraph (b)(1)(iii) of this section to protect employees on construction sites:    a) First Floor - A laborer was using an extension cord to provide power to a DeWalt portable electric circular saw, model number DW368, and was not provided with a ground fault circuit interrupter or an assured equipment grounding conductor program, 120 volt, 15 amp service, on or about 01/13/2015.    Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.    For the purpose of this inspection, this employer was determined to be the controlling and correcting employer on the job site. The employer is being cited under OSHAs multi-employer workplace policy.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section:    a) Second Story South Wall - Laborers were observed standing on a 32 inch wide saw horse scaffold work platform while attaching a 2 by 10 inch batter board to the face of the wall without fall protection and exposed to a 20 ft., 5 inch fall to the basement below, on or about 01/13/2015.    For the purpose of this inspection, this employer was determined to be the controlling and correcting employer on the job site. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
