Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by and/or caught in-between hazards:  a)  At 9066 State Hwy W in Cassville, MO 65625 (Live Receiving) - Employees were passing through the safety fence "gate" to the conveyor system to close cage "module" doors after live chickens were dumped, exposing the employees to struck by and/or caught in-between hazards by incoming or outgoing cages on the conveyor system.     Among other methods, feasible and acceptable means of hazard abatement include:  1) Ensure that the employer follows the Manufacturers Operating Instructions, to include the following:     2) Ensure that the cage doors are not closed while on the unloading system as indicated by the manufacturer of Bright's Cage Unloading System, Bright Coop Inc.  3) Ensure that unloading systems which are not equipped with automatic door closers to remove the empty cages from the unloading system before attempting to manually close the doors as indicated by the manufacturer of Bright's Cage Unloading System, Bright Coop Inc.
