29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8):   The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work  shift to employees when they were in their work area(s):  The employer did not ensure the Safety Data Sheets were available for hazardous materials such as but not limited to lubricating oils, lead acid batteries and liquid fuels such as gasoline and diesel. Employees were exposed to the hazard of contacting the noted hazardous materials and did not have immediate access to the information that would provide them with the knowledge of the inherent dangers to their health and safety.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv): The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information:  The employer has not updated the hazard communication program and trained employees on the portion of the hazard communication program that explains the labels on shipping containers and the safety data sheets for items such as lubricating oils, lead acid batteries and liquid fuels such as gasoline and diesel, including the order of information and how the employee could obtain and use the hazard information.
