29 CFR 1926.95(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, were not provided: (1) On or about January 15, 2015, at the above addressed job site, employees performing asphalt roof removal operation were not provided with gloves, exposing them to come in contact with asphalt material that can cause skin irritation and dermatitis. (2) On or about January 15, 2015, at the above address job site, employees performing asphalt roof removal operation were not provided with eye protection, exposing them to flying projectiles that can result in corneal abrasions and lacerations to the eye.
