29 CFR 1917.45(b)(2): The manufacturer's (or design) rated loads for the conditions of use shall not be exceeded. (a) On January 12, 2015 the inspection revealed that the load block of the JLG Hydraulic Crane Model 886 had not been rigged correctly. The dead end of the wire rope was secured back to the live line of the wire rope after passing through the wedge socket, potentially putting strain on the wire rope and causing damage. The crane was located in the lay down yard behind the saw mill at the time of the inspection.
