29 CFR 1910.1030(f)(3)(ii)(A): The post-exposure evaluation and follow-up of an exposure incident did not include testing the source individual's blood as soon as feasible and after consent was obtained in order to determine HBV and HIV infectivity: On or about January 12, 2015, an employee at the Naperville Children's Clinic sustained a needlestick while attempting to administer a flu shot. The employer did not attempt to obtain consent for testing of the source individual's blood in order to determine HBV and HIV infectivity. This item was corrected during inspection.
